Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  Since our hop is on Valentine’s Day, we are all creating projects with a love theme and  I have chosen to to feature the Falling for You stamp set for my project.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #319.

I started by adhering a panel from the Falling In Love DSP to a Sahara Sand card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut another panel of the Falling In Love DSP with a Layering Squares Framelits Die and adhered it to a Layering Squares Framelits die cut from Blushing Bride card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

To soften the pink DSP layer, I cut a panel of White Vellum with the same size Layering Squares Framelits die and I adhered that panel to the DSP layer with a little SNAIL hidden under the area where the sentiment is located.  I added one of the Lace Doilies over the layered card front, using touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere it and I wrapped a strand of Blushing Bride Solid Baker’s Twine around the card front twice and then tied a bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Falling For You stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock and I stamped the flower images in Blushing Bride ink over it.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of Sahara Sand card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Pearl Basic Jewels around the layered panels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and flower images from the Falling For You stamp set in Blushing Bride and Sahara Sand inks on a Very Vanilla panel inside the card.
