Daydream Medallions Birthday Card
I made this card for the Pals Paper Arts PPA147 – An Inspiring Sketch Challenge.

I started by cutting the three Very Vanilla panels to 1 1/2”x 3 7/8”, embossing them with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder and sponging them with Soft Suede ink. Then I cut the Soft Suede layers for behind the panels to 1 5/8” x 4” and adhered them to the Very Vanilla embossed panels. Next, I took a piece of sticky strip and ran it down the edge of one panel and I pleated the Very Vanilla Seam Binding down the sticky strip. I adhered the three panels to a Very Vanilla card base. Then I stamped the images from the Daydream Medallions stamp set and Happy Birthday sentiment on Very Vanilla Card Stock in Soft Suede Ink. I cut the medallion images using the Floral Frames Framelits and I trimmed the corners of the sentiment using the 3/16” Corner Punch. I sponged all of the edges with Soft Suede ink and curled the edges of the medallions with a bone folder. I punched a Scallop Circle out of Soft Suede Card Stock and I sponged the edges with Soft Suede ink. I layered the medallions and scallop circle, pierced the center and placed an Antique Brad. I added a layer of Soft Suede behind the sentiment and adhered both pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
