I made this clean and simple (CAS) card for the Stamping and Blogging Saturday Sketch Challenge 6. This card is fairly flat and can be sent with just one stamp!

I started by stamping the Christmas tree image in VersaMark ink on Lucky Limeade Card Stock. Then I sprinkled the image with Heat & Stick Powder and heated the image using the Heat Tool. Just a tip, you only need to quickly heat the powder until it melts and becomes shiny. Then I sprinkled the image with Dazzling Diamonds and heat set it again with the Heat Tool. I stamped the branch image in Lucky Limeade and then scored the edges using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Next, I colored the sentiment using Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped the image on Very Vanilla Card Stock and punched it out with the 1 ¾” Scallop Circle Punch. I cut the Candlelight Specialty Paper to 1 ½”x 5 ¼” and attached it to the Very Vanilla card base with Glue Dots. Then I attached the Lucky Limeade tree image the Very Vanilla card base. I cut the banner from the Candlelight Specialty Paper to 1” x 2 ½” and I snipped the triangle out with scissors. I finished the card by attaching the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Dazzling Diamonds are a little messy to work with, but I do love the very glittery effect that they create. Enjoy your Sunday!
