Create a Cupcake with Washi Tape

My card share for today was inspired by the Fab Friday 16 Color Challenge.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Create a Cupcake and new Washi Tape to make the card.

I started by coloring the sentiment from the Create a Cupcake stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers and stamping it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered 3 strips of Epic Day This and That Washi Tape to the panel, then adhered the panel with SNAIL to a panel of Pool Party DSP from the In Color DSP Stacks.

I cut a circle from Pool Party card stock with my Circles #2 Originals Die and I adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I punched a 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch from Calypso Coral card stock, pierced the scallops with my Paper-Piercing Tool, adhered it a Whisper White circle that I’d cut with the Circles #2 Die with SNAIL, then adhered the layered circles to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the cupcake images (used VersaMark ink and Pool Party Stampin’ Emboss Powder for the frosting), punched them out with the Cupcake Builder Punch and adhered them with SNAIL to the card front.  Then I adhered the decorated card front to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping the cupcake images again and adding some Silver Dazzling Details for the sprinkles.  I layered the Whisper White card stock over a panel of the Pool Party In Color DSP Stack and adhered the panels together with SNAIL.
