Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the Label Something stamp set and Birthday Basics DSP from Stampin’ Up! My design was inspired by the Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge #162. I just turned the sketch on the side for my card.
I started by embossing a panel of Bermuda Bay Core’dinations card stock with the Alphabet Press Embossing Folder. I sanded the embossed areas, then adhered it to a Raspberry Ripple card base with SNAIL. Next, I cut three strips of Birthday Basics DSP, adhered them to strips of Raspberry Ripple card stock and snipped flag ends in them. I cut a larger panel of the Birthday Basics DSP and adhered it to a panel of Raspberry Ripple card stock with SNAIL. I adhered the three flags to the back side of the larger panel with SNAIL, then I adhered the entire panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Then I colored the image from the Label Something stamp set with my Stampin’ Write Markers, stamped it on a Very Vanilla panel and punched it out with the Artisan Label Punch. I adhered the sentiment image to a 1-3/4″ Circle Punch from Raspberry Ripple card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the layered sentiment to a Bermuda Bay circle that I’d cut with the Circles Collection Framelits die, then to the card front with SNAIL. I finished the card front by adding two of the Brights Designer Buttons using Glue Dots to adhere them.
I finished the inside of the card by adhering a strip of the Birthday Basics DSP to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with SNAIL.
