I’m sharing a card today that I made with the Best New Year stamp set from Stampin’ Up! I thought that a little Champagne Glimmer Paper would be the perfect addition to a Happy New Year card.
I started by embossing two panels of Night of Navy with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder. I adhered the two embossed panels to a panel of Champagne Glimmer Paper with Sticky Strip, then to a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Best New Year stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) on a panel of Night of Navy card stock in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I layered the embossed panel over a Champagne Glimmer Paper panel then stamped and embossed the star from the Simply Stars stamp set (wood mount and clear mount) and punched it out with the 1″ Circle Punch. I layered the star image over a 1-1/4″ Scallop Circle Punch from Champagne Glimmer Paper and I adhered the image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished the inside of the card by stamping and embossing the star image on a Whisper White panel.
