I used the World of Dreams stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a paint chip/ombre effect card to share today. The colors for my card were inspired by one that my team member and friend, Heather Van Looy created. You can see her beautiful card here.
The design for my card was inspired by Try Stampin’ on Tuesday #182. Be sure to stop by the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday blog to see what the other Design Team Members have created with this sketch!
I started by cutting little rectangles from Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Baked Brown Sugar and Sahara Sand card stock. I adhered the rectangles to a panel of Naturals White card stock with SNAIL.
I stamped the image from the World of Dreams stamp set in Early Espresso ink over the card stock rectangles. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Another Thank You photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the Naturals White card stock panel.
I wrapped a strand of Early Espresso 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon around the panel and adhered it with SNAIL. Then I tied a bow from the ribbon and adhered it to the ribbon strand with a rolled up Glue Dot. I adhered the layered panel to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I finished the card front by adding three Early Espresso Candy Dots (from the Neutrals Candy Dots pack).
