Stampin’ Up! White Christmas Banner Card

I used the White Christmas stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create my card to share today.

My card design was inspired by Sunday Stamps SSC88.

I started by adhering a panel of All Is Calm Speciality DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock, then to a Cherry Cobbler card base with SNAIL.  I adhered strips of All Is Calm Designer Washi Tape across the front of the card.  I didn’t take a lot of time, just ripped the strips off the roll and stuck them randomly on the card.

Then I stamped the images from the White Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel and I colored them with my light Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers.  I stamped the snow image from the White Christmas stamp set all over the background in Soft Sky ink and I added a few lines with my Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Marker to the snowman and ground as well.

I set the snowman image aside and created the frame by cutting a rectangular panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, placing one of the Square Collection Framelits Dies toward the top of the rectangle and running it through the Big Shot to cut the center out.  I stamped the sentiment from the White Christmas stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the frame, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I adhered the snowman panel to the back of the frame with SNAIL, then wrapped Silver Bakers’ Twine around the frame twice and I tied a little bow.  I adhered the frame to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment and snowman from the White Christmas stamp set on a Whisper White panel inside the card.  The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the snowman is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored just like the snowman on the card front.
