Sandi MacIver and I are teaming up to bring you some Thanksgiving table ideas with the Fry Box Die from Stampin’ Up!  I used the For All Things and Skinny Mini Alphabet stamp sets to create a little treat box and place card set.

The colors for my projects today were inspired by the Fab Friday 54 color challenge.

I saw this cute bag that Valerie Moody made using the Fry Box Die so I thought that I’d switch the theme to Thanksgiving and give it a try!

I created a quick photo tutorial for the box base and you can see that on my Tutorials page here.  I stamped the images from the For All Things stamp set in Cajun Craze ink randomly on the box before I adhered the sides of the box together.

I stamped the leaves from the For All Things stamp set in Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks on Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze card stock and I cut them out with my Paper Snips.  I sponged a little Cajun Craze ink on the Crushed Curry leaf, then adhered the leaves together and to the box with Glue Dots, along with a leaf the I’d cut with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die from Champaign Glimmer Paper.  I tied a bow from Black Berry Bliss 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot to the leaves. I tucked a strand of Gold Sequin Trim under the bow and I adhered it with a Glue Dot  under the bow.

I colored the sentiment from the For All Things stamp set with my Crushed Curry and Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Naturals White card stock.  I punched the sentiment out with the Note Tag Punch, then inked up the acorn image in Cajun Craze ink, stamped it on scrap paper once, then stamped it on the tag.  I adhered the tag to the front of the box with Glue Dots.  Then I filled up my little cellophane bag with treats and tied it shut with a strand of Gold Baker’s Twine.

For the place card, stamped the name with the Skinny Mini Alphabet photopolymer stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on a panel of Naturals White card stock.  I inked up the acorn image in Cajun Craze ink and stamped it off, then stamped it over the end of the panel.  I punched the corners with the Project Life Corner Punch and adhered the panel to a panel of Kraft Card Stock.

I used Glue Dots to adhere a Champaign Glimmer Paper leaf (cut with the Autumn Accents Bigz Die) and another leaf that I’d stamped with the For All Things stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a Crushed Curry panel, cut out with my Paper Snips and sponged with Cajun Craze ink.
