I used the Best Day Ever Sale-A-Bration exclusive stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a happy little flower card to share with you today.

I started by sponging a panel of the Irresistibly Yours DSP (Sale-A-Bration item) with Crisp Cantaloupe ink. Then I adhered the sponged panel to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock with SNAIL and to a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower images (it’s the little group of 4 petals, I just stamped it twice) from the Best Day Ever stamp set (Sale-A-Bration item) on a Whisper White card base in Crisp Cantaloupe ink. Then I stamped the stem images in Pistachio Pudding ink under the flowers and I stamped the little heart image over the stems to look like leaves. I stamped the dot image several times in Coastal Cabana ink above the flowers. Some of the dot images were stamped without reinking, then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and to the card front with SNAIL.

I used my Fringe Scissors to snip a strip of Pistachio Pudding card stock along one side to make it look like grass, then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL I colored the sentiment image from the Best Day Ever stamp set with my Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana Stampin’ Write Markers and I stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I punched the sentiment out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch and layered it over a circle cut from Coastal Cabana card stock with a Starburst Framelits Die. I adhered the layered sentiment circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I colored Pearl Basic Jewels with my Medium Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker (Sale-A-Bration Item, also available in the Annual Catalog) and adhered them to the center of the flowers on the card front to finish it.

I stamped the images from the Best Day Ever stamp set in Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Pistachio Pudding inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.

***A Quick Note About the 2013-15 In Colors: Since I used some of the 2013-15 In Colors on my card today, I thought that I’d post a little reminder about this color group. This set of In Colors will be retiring at the beginning of June. If you love them as much as I do, right now is a great time to stock up on ink pads, ink refills, card stock, Thick Baker’s Twines and the sequins in those colors. You’ll earn Sale-a-bration benefits for your orders and you won’t need to worry about those items selling out before you can get them when the retiring list is announced later this year. So it’s a double bonus! 🙂 Some of these colors may make their way back into the core colors from Stampin’ Up!, but there are no guarantees that they will.
