I used the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Today stamp set and matching Balloon Framelits to create a super quick birthday card to share today.

My card layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #184.

The colors for my card were inspired by TGIF Challenges #01.

And the twine on my project was inspired by Just Us Girls #291.

I started by taping a panel of Crushed Curry and a panel of Calypso Coral card stock together (just used a little Scotch Tape on the back), then embossing them with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the little banner from the Celebrate Today photopolymer stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a Whisper White panel and I cut it out with the matching framelit from the Balloon Framelits set.  I colored the polka dots and stripes on the banner with my Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker, then adhered the banner to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the balloon image from the Celebrate Today stamp set in Pool Party ink on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the birthday sentiment over the image in Calypso Coral ink.  I cut the balloon image out with the matching Balloon Framelit, then tied a strand of Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine around the bottom of the balloon and adhered the balloon to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I ran a tiny bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue down the strand of Baker’s Twine and I adhered it to the card front, then I adhered a small strand of Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim under the balloon with a Glue Dot.  I added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the balloon images from the Celebrate Today stamp set in Pool Party, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
