I took a step away from sneak peeks today to create a card with the Stampin’ Up! stamp set called Guy Greetings.  I also used a little of the Maritime DSP, which is on the retiring list, so be sure to grab yours before it’s gone!

My card design was inspired by Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 268.

I started by adhering a panel from the Maritime DSP pack to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL, then to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a smaller panel from the Maritime DSP pack to another panel of Night of Navy card stock, then to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a strip of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL over the layered panel.

I stamped the anchor image from the Guy Greetings stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel, then I stamped the sentiment from that stamp set in Real Red ink under it.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock, then to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL.

I adhered the layered sentiment panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, then added a Night of Navy Candy Dot from the Regals Candy Dots pack to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of the Maritime DSP to a Whisper White panel inside the card.
