Stampin’ Up! Places You’ll Go Congrats

I used the Stampin’ Up! Places You’ll Go, Banners for You and Swirly Bird stamp sets to create a quick congratulations card to share with you today.

My card design was loosely inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #182.

I started by stamping the splatter image from the Swirly Bird photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink a few times across a Sahara Sand card stock panel.  Then I stamped the globe stand from the Places You’ll Go stamp set in Early Espresso ink over the ink splatter images.

I adhered the Sahara Sand card stock panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to a Soft Suede card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the globe image from the Places You’ll Go stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock, cut it out with a Layering Circles Framelits die and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

I stamped the banner and sentiment from the Banners for You photopolymer stamp set in Pear Pizzazz and Early Espresso inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the banner out with the matching Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies (available in a bundle with the Banners for You stamp set at 10% off!) and sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink.

I adhered the die cut banner over the globe image with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a single gold heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Places You’ll Go stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a Whisper White panel.  Then I inked the globe and globe stand images in Sahara Sand and Pear Pizzazz inks, stamped them on scrap paper, then stamped them on the Whisper White panel inside the card.
