Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lift Me Up stamp set to create a congratulations card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC144.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

The colors for my card were inspired by Stamp Ink Paper #81.

And The Paper Players PP327 challenge is the same color scheme this week, so this also works for their challenge!

I started by inking the small hot air balloon image from the Lift Me Up stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink.  I stamped it on scrap paper once, then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock and stamped it again on a different panel of Whisper White card stock (the background panel on the card).

I cut out the other hot air balloon stamped image and three clouds with the Up & Away Thinlits Dies from the Whisper White card stock panel.  I adhered the four die cuts to the other Whisper White card stock panel with Glue Dots.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on the lower part of the Whisper White panel and then adhered it to a panel of Watermelon Wonder card stock with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and tied a small bow and then adhered the panel to a Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the larger hot air balloon image from the Lift Me Up stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Watermelon Wonder ink, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I cut the image out with the Up & Away Thinlits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a black Sharpie Marker and then adhered them randomly across the card front to finish it.

I inked the smaller hot air balloon image from the Life Me Up stamp set in Watermelon Wonder ink, stamped it on scrap paper once and then stamped it twice on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.  I stamped the larger hot air balloon image in Watermelon Wonder ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock, cut it out with the Up & Away Thinlits die and adhered it to the inside of the card with SNAIL.

You can see a complete list of supplies, including card stock cuts, for creating this card at the very bottom of this post.
