Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes CAS Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dandelion Wishes, Bokeh Dots and Perennial Birthday stamp sets to create a clean and simple birthday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #342.

I started by stamping the dot image from the Bokeh Dots stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a panel of Whipser White card stock.  Quick Tip:  I found that this image doesn’t stamp as nicely with a new/juicy ink pad.  So use one that is a little drier or that has been used several times to get the bokeh effect to stamp correctly.

I stamped the dandelion image from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the Whisper White card stock panel.  Then I added a panel of White Vellum with SNAIL hidden under the sentiment banner over the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock and then adhered it with SNAIL over the vellum panel.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL and then to a  Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Glitter Enamel Dot and two Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiments from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then inked the seed image from the Dandelion Wishes stamp set in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper 3 times and then stamped it on the panel to finish the inside of the card.
