Stampin’ Up! Darling Label Treat Bag

I got home from the Stampin’ Up! Alaskan Cruise late last night.  We had such an amazing time and I’m already looking forward to the Greek Isles cruise next summer!!  I was so excited when one of my team members, Mary Deatherage over at Stamps-n-Lingers.com earned the Alaskan cruise too so she got to join me for the fun!  I sent her a little something when she earned the cruise, but I also brought a gift along for her to Alaska.  I’m sharing the gift bag and tag that I made for her gift with you today.

The bag is made from two sheets of the Share What You Love Specialty DSP.  I scored the 12×12 papers at 4″ and 8″ and then turned it 90 degrees and scored it at 4″ and 10″.  I snipped up the two original score lines from the bottom and then folded the top down on the 2″ score line.

Before assembling the bag, I punched two holes on the top of both sheets with the Detailed Trio Punch.  After punching the holes, I adhered the top fold down and the sides and bottom together with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  I pulled two strands of Tranquil Tide 3/8″ Ruffled Ribbon through the holes punched on either side and tied small knots to make the handles.  This bag goes together really quickly!

For the tag, I used the Detailed Trio Punch and the Everyday Label Punch to punch a panel of Share What You Love DSP.  You can see how I punched the tag in this blog post, the only difference is that I used the corner rounder from the Detailed Trio Punch to punch the bottom two corners on this tag.  I stamped the sentiment from the Darling Label Punch Box stamp set and punched it out with the Darling Label Punch.  I cut a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock with the Petite Treat Framelits die and I adhered the punch and die cut together with Tear & Tape Adhesive and then to the larger tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied the tag to the bag with Linen Thread and added a single Rhinestone Basic Jewel to finish it.

If you haven’t seen the Darling Label Punch Box, do take a peek at it in my online store.  It’s a great stamp set and punch bundle with two ink spots, an acrylic block and a beautiful storage tin included!  The storage tin is big too…it’s 8″ x 8″ x 3″!

You can see it here in my online store.

And here are a few more pictures from our travels around Alaska.  We woke up on Wednesday morning to the beautiful sights of Tracy Arm Fjord.

The glacier at the end of the Fjord was stunning at sunrise!

Then we had a day at sea and our final stop was Victoria, BC.

We had a tour of their butterfly gardens, what a neat place!

Our final stop was the Butchart Gardens, simply amazing!!

I hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing the pictures of the trip!  It was definitely one of my favorite trips ever, go if you get a chance!
