Stampin’ Up! Dear Doily for Sunday Stamps SSC200

I used the Stampin’ Up! Dear Doily stamp set bundle to create my card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.  This is the 200th challenge for Sunday Stamps so we are all doing a little giveaway to celebrate!  More details about the giveaway are below my card project.  🙂

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC200.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Botanical Butterfly DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a small strip of Crumb Cake card stock to the back of a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack with SNAIL.  I adhered the Wood Textures DSP with SNAIL to the Crumb Cake card stock panel.  Then I adhered the layered panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock with one of the Doily Builder Framelits Dies, snipped off the end and then adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I inked the flower image from the Dear Doily stamp set in Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist inks (using ink pads and Stampin’ Write Markers) and stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped it two more times and then cut the images out with the coordinating die from the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the die cuts together with Glue Dots and then tied Linen Thread around the stems.  I adhered the flowers to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Dear Doily stamp set in Flirty Flamingo ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with a Layering Circles Framelits Die.  I adhered the circle to a scalloped circle but from Flirty Flamingo card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I colored three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker and then adhered them to the card front to finish it.

I inked the flower image from the Dear Doily stamp set in the same way that I described above and stamped it on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
