Stampin’ Up! Morning Star Thank You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Morning Star stamp set and some of that pretty Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 472.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Morning Star photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray ink on the front of a Pool Party card base.  Then I stamped the two leaf images from the Morning Star stamp set in Pool Party ink three times along the right side of card base.

I punched the ends of three strips of Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and I adhered them to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut a panel of Petal Pink card stock with Cherry Blossoms Dies and then adhered the die cut flowers to the card front with Glue Dots.

I cut a panel of Champagne Foil Sheets with one of the Cherry Blossoms Dies twice and then adhered the flower centers to the flowers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the leaf image from the Morning Star stamp set in Pool Party ink along the side of a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
