I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog to create a fun birthday card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 521.
I started by cutting a panel of Calypso Coral card stock with one of the Layering Circles dies. I adhered the die cut circle with Stampin’ Seal to a panel of Pool Party card stock. I cut two panels of Flowering Cactus DSP with one of the Curvy Dies. I adhered the die cut panels to a panel of Pool Party card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then trimmed the edges even with the Pool Party card stock panel.
I cut a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with one of the Flowering Cactus Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front. Then I cut another panel of the Flowering Cactus DSP with one of the coordinating Flowering Cactus Dies and I adhered it with Stampin’ Seal to the card front.
I adhered three felt flowers from the Flowering Cactus Product Medley with Stampin’ Seal and then stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Cactus stamps set in Highland Heather ink on the Pool Party card stock panel. I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Highland Heather card base to finish the card front.
I stamped the cactus images from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Pear Pizzazz and Highland Heather inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
