Stampin’ Up! Delicate Petals Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Delicate Petals stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

My card design works for Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTT103.  I went down the left side.

I started by adhering a panel from the True Love DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Petal Pink card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the flower image from the Delicate Petals photopolymer stamp set two times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White card stock and colored them with Light and Dark Petal Pink and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the two small leaf images from the Delicate Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the flowers and leaves out with the coordinating Lacy Petals Dies then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I adhered a small length of Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon in a wide “z” over the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Petals stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Petal Pink card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies and then stamped the small dot image from the Delicate Petals stamp set in Petal Pink ink over the lower left and upper right corners of the die cut.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ribbon and added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower image from the Delicate Petals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with the Light and Dark Petal Pink and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
