Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals & New In Colors Sneak Peek With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hand-Penned Petals stamp set bundle and the new 2021-2023 In Colors from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to create a thank you card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card on my Facebook page here and you can also see it on my YouTube channel here.

The floral theme for my card was inspired by Hand Stamp Sentiments #361.

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC107.  I went right down the middle

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Hand-Penned Petals photopolymer (available May 4) in Evening Evergreen ink (available May 4) on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut the sentiment out with one of the rectangular dies from the Scalloped Contours Dies (available May 4).  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the outline floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then stamped the fill in images for the leaves and flowers in Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya inks (available May 4).  I cut the stamped image out with the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Soft Succulent card stock (available May 4) with the leaf dies from the Penned Flowers Die and then adhered the die cuts with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added one of the Genial Gems (available May 4) next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the outline floral image from the Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and then stamped the fill in images for the leaves and flowers in Soft Succulent, Polished Pink, Fresh Freesia and Pale Papaya inks on a Basic White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
