I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set bundle to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a them challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the theme that we’re using this week:
I started by cutting a panel of Sahara Sand foil from the Love You Always Foil Sheets with one of the Seaside Shells Dies. I embossed the die cut with Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.
I stamped the seashell and sand dollar images from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I used a Blending Brush and Petal Pink ink to add a little color to the stamped images and then cut them out with the coordinating Seaside Shells Dies. I embossed the seashell images with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the die cut shells to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment and sand dollar with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added a few random Pearl Basic Jewels to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment and sand dollar images from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
