Today I’m sharing a card that I made using the the Loving Thoughts and You Are Loved stamp sets from Stampin’ Up. This card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch #71. Here is the sketch:

I started with a Real Red card base cut to 5″ x 10″ and scored at 5″. Then I cut a panel of Pink Pirouette card stock to 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ and a panel of Real Red card stock to 4-5/8″ x 4-5/8″. I stamped the flower image from the You Are Loved stamp set on the Real Red panel using the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark ink, adhered it to the Pink Pirouette panel with SNAIL, then adhered the layered panel to the card base using SNAIL. Then I inked up my Brayer with Pink Pirouette ink and I rolled it over the white side of the designer tag from the Artisan Embellishments Kit, stamped the flower image in Pink Pirouette over the brayered tag and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front. Then I snipped one of the hearts from the More Amore Specialty DSP out and I adhered that to the card front with SNAIL. I cut a scalloped heart out of Red Glimmer Paper using the Hearts a Flutter Framelit Die and I adhered that over the Pink Pirouette heart with SNAIL. To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Loving Thoughts stamp set on Pink Pirouette card stock in Real Red ink. I trimmed the sentiment down to 3/8″ x 3-1/2″, adhered it to a strip of Real Red card stock that I’d cut to 1/2″ x 3-1/2″, snipped a flag end with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front using SNAIL on the right side and a Stampin’ Dimensional on the left. I placed the heart from the Artisan Embellishments Kit over the right side of the sentiment using a Glue Dot.
Quick and easy and I love the way that the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark ink looks on the Real Red card stock.
