I made a a card with one of the the new holiday single stamps from Stampin’ Up! called Christmas Star. This stamp is so pretty! And it’s big, almost the same size as the background images. To see all eight of the new holiday single stamps available from Stampin’ Up! in my online store, click here.
I started by stamping the Christmas Star image in Illuminate Glimmer Watermark ink on an Island Indigo card base. I sped up the drying of ink by using my Heat Tool, but you can also let it air dry. Then I stamped the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.
Then I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of the Silver Foil Sheets with SNAIL. Then I adhered three banners with SNAIL that I’d cut from the Silver Frost Specialty DSP and punched the ends with the Hexagon Punch. I adhered a strip of Silver 1/8″ Ribbon around the panel with SNAIL, then added a bow using a rolled up Glue Dot to adhere it.
I finished the card front by adhering the stamped panel to a Smoky Slate card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a Whisper White panel, then adhered a strip of Winter Frost Specialty DSP to finish the inside of the card.
