Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Christmas CAS cards

I used the Stampin’ Up! Watercolor Christmas and Quilt Builder Framelits Dies to create two quick holiday cards to share with you today.

For the green and red card, I stamped the sentiment from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set (available Sept 1)  in VersaMark ink on a panel of Quilted Christmas 6×6 DSP (available Sept 1), sprinkled it with White Stampin Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL, then I added a strand of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the panel.  I adhered the panel to a Garden Green card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a scalloped square with the largest Layering Squares Framelits die from Garden Green card stock, then I cut the quilted pieces from Real Red and Whisper White card stocks with the Quilt Builder Framelits dies (available Sept 1).  I adhered the die cut pieces to the scalloped square with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the square to the card DSP panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the red, white and gold card, I started by stamping the Watercolor Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink, sprinkling it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossing it.  Then I ran the panel through the Big Shot with the Softly Falling Embossing folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Gold 3/8″ Metallic-Edge Ribbon around the panel and tied a small knot.  I adhered the layered panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Gold Foil Sheets with the same scalloped square die and then cut panels of Real Red Whisper White card stocks with the Quilt Builder Framelits dies.  I adhered the pieces together with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the embossed panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered an enamel star from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack and the Regals Enamel Shapes pack to each card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and tree images from the Watercolor Christmas stamp set in Real Red and Garden Green inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
