I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Serene Garden stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018-19 Annual Catalog to create my card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #336.
I started by embossing the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with the corner embossing die from the Garden Scene Framelits Dies (available June 1). I used the new Big Shot Embossing Mats (available June 1) to emboss this panel…they worked great, love this new set of mats! Then I adhered a panel of Soft Sea Foam card stock (available June 1) over the embossed card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the corner image from the Serene Garden photopolymer stamp set (available June 1) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I used a Blender Pen and Soft Suede and Soft Sea Foam (available June 1) inks to add a little color to the image. Then I stamped the flower images from the Serene Garden stamp set on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock and I used a Blender Pen with Poppy Parade and Powder Pink inks to add color to those images.
I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Garden Scene Framelits Dies and I adhered them with Glue Dots to the Whisper White card stock panel. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a strip of Powder Pink card stock, snipped the end at an angle and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
