I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration exclusive Delicate Dahlias to create a birthday card to share with you today.
My card design was inspire by Freshly Made Sketches #499.
I started by stamping the flower images from the Delicate Dahlias photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration exclusive) in Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Old Olive inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock. I embossed the stamped panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of a Thick Very Vanilla card base.
I adhered a small length of 3/8″ Fine Art Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal in a “z” formation. I stamped the sentiment from the In Your Words (Sale-a-bration host exclusive stamp set) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.
I cut the sentiment out with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the sentiment panel to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set in Cajun Craze ink and the flowers from the Delicate Dahlias stamp set in Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and Old Olive inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
