Stampin’ Up! Classic Cloche Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Classic Cloche stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this project and you can see it on my Facebook page here and on my YouTube channel here.

The theme for my card was inspired by Paper Players PP563.

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  I cut panels of In Good Taste DSP and Sahara Sand card stock with one of the Nature’s Thoughts Dies and then adhered them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the layered panel twice and tied a knot and then adhered the panel to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the cloche image from the Classic Cloche photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating die from the Cloche Dies.  Then I snipped the “handle” off the top of the die cut.  I used a Blending Brush to add Pool Party ink to the die cut image and then stamped the snowflakes from the Classic Cloche stamp set over the die cut in Pool Party ink.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut panels of Garden Green and Basic White card stocks with Cloche Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Mini Glue Dots.  I cut another panel of In Good Taste DSP with the “base” die from the Cloche Dies and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Sweets & Treats photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the dies from the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and added three silver pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered a strip of In Good Taste DSP to finish the inside of the card.
