Stampin’ Up! Oceanfront Birthday Card for the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog Team Blog Hop

We’ve got a fun team blog hop today hosted by Jillian Good!  We’re all featuring products from the upcoming January-June 2022 Mini Catalog for our projects so you’ll see a wide variety of new things!  I’ve featured the Oceanfront stamp set for my birthday card today.

I started by stamping the seagrass image from the Oceanfront stamp set (available Jan 4) in Mint Macaron ink across a panel of Basic White card stock.  I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered the panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I inked the “water” image from the Oceanfront stamp set in Pool Party and Coastal Cabana inks and then stamped it on Basic White card stock.  I stamped the “sky” image in Balmy Blue ink and “sand” images in Sahara Sand ink on the panel.  Then I stamped the seagrass images in Mint Macaron ink on the panel and added the bird image from the On The Horizon stamp set (available Jan 4) in Soft Suede ink on the panel.  I cut the panel with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Sahara Sand card stock with two of the dies from the Horizon Dies (available Jan 4) and then adhered the die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells photopolymer stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Coastal Cabana gems from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the On The Horizon stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink and then added the sand and seagrass images in Sahara Sand and Mint Macaron inks on to finish the inside of the card.
