Stampin’ Up! Rainbow Of Happiness CAS Tulip Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and some of the pretty Flowering Fields DSP to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 581.

I started by cutting a panel of Flowering Fields DSP into four pieces and then adhering the pieces to panels Of Mossy Meadow card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  ***Quick Tip:  When I was cutting the DSP panel, I cut a small piece from the left side of the panel that is on the center right.  This made sure that the edges and images lined up straight as I was assembling the card front.

I placed the layered DSP pieces on the Poppy Parade card front and then used them to help me place the stamped sentiment image.  I stamped the sentiment from the Rainbow Of Happiness photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on the card front.  Then I removed the layered DSP panels, sprinkled the sentiment with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and heat embossed it.

I adhered the layered DSP panels to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then added two of the clear Elegant Faceted Gems to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Flowering Fields DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the Basic White panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock and then to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
