I used the Stampin’ Up! Soaring Swallows stamp set bundle to create a congratulations card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on my YouTube channel here.
My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP332.
I started by applying Pool Party ink to a panel of Basic White card stock with a Blending Brush. Then I embossed the panel with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the front of the Thick Basic White card base. I snipped off one end of a Paper Lattice to make it more square and then adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.
I cut panels of Pear Pizzazz and Petal Pink card stocks with the Swallows Dies and then adhered the die cuts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the bird outline images from the Soaring Swallows photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I stamped the fill-in bird images from the Soaring Swallows stamp set in Pool Party ink over the outline images and then cut them out with the coordinating Swallows Dies. I adhered the die cut birds to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I adhered a small length of Pool Party 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Soaring Swallows stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Swallows Dies. I adhered the due cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added three Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment and outline images from the Soaring Swallows stamp set in Basic Gray ink and then added the fill-in image in Pool Party ink to finish the inside of the card.
