Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home Stay Wonderful Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Honeybee Home stamp set bundle to create my card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here.  You can also see the video on YouTube here.

My card design was inspired by TGIF Challenges #TGIFC359.

I started by adhering a panel of Heart & Home DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Heart & Home DSP to a panel of Garden Green card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  I cut another strip of Garden Green card stock with one of the Peony Dies and then adhered the die cut strip to the back of the DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Honeybee Home stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pale Papaya card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies.  I cut another panel of Heart & Home DSP with another one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies and then adhered the two tag die cuts together with Stampin’ Seal.  I pulled a small length of Fresh Freesia 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon through the hole in the tags and tied a small knot, then adhered the tags with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I cut Garden Green and Fresh Freesia card stock panels with Honeybee Blooms Dies and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the tags.  Then I stamped the bee image from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I colored the bee with the Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker and then cut it out with the coordinating Honeybee Blooms Dies.  I adhered the die cut bee to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and then added two copper dots from the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the tag.  I brushed Wink Of Stella over the bees wings to finish the card front.

I stamped the bee images from the Honeybee Home stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the wings with a Light So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I added a strip of Heart & Home DSP to finish the inside of the card.
