Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat Thank You Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Wheat stamp set bundle to create a fall thank you card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for this card on Facebook Live yesterday and you can see it here.  You can also see the video on YouTube here.

I started by adhering a strip of Splendid Day Specialty DSP to the bottom of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Seal.  I inked the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set with Sahara Sand ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the bottom of the panel with one of the Basic Borders Dies and then embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to the front of the Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Copper Foil Sheets and then cut the panel with three of the Wheat Dies.  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets.  Then I stamped the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Wheat Dies and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled it with copper embossing powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered two of the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I inked the wheat image from the Gathered Wheat stamp set in Sahara Sand ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
