I used the Stampin’ Up! Cottage Wreaths stamp set bundle to create a quick Thanksgiving card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #559.
My card was also inspired by Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC185. I went down the left side.
I started by adhering a panel of Gingham Cottage DSP to the front of a So Saffron card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I embossed a panel of Basic White card stock with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I brushed Soft Suede ink lightly across the embossed panel with Blending Brushes. I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked the leafy wreath image from the Cottage Wreaths photopolymer stamp set in So Saffron ink and then used a Sponge Dauber to add Calypso Coral ink randomly around the stamp. I stamped the wreath on a panel of Basic White card stock and then inked the twig wreath in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the leafy wreath. I cut the image out with the coordinating Country Wreaths Dies. I adhered the die cut wreath to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut panels of Brushed Metallic Cardstock with the bow and branch dies from the Country Wreaths Dies and adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front. I added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the branches. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Painted Pheasant stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and cut around it with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I slid the die over about 1/2″ and cut the end of the die cut, making it shorter and fit to the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.
I adhered a strip of Gingham Cottage DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
