Stampin’ Up! Greatest Journey Thank You Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Journey stamp set and coordinating Enjoy The Journey DSP to create a thank you card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

I started by cutting a panel of Enjoy The Journey DSP ($50 level Sale-a-bration item and regular catalog item) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Melon Mambo card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with the cloud dies from the Greatest Journey Dies.  I adhered the three die cut clouds with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the DSP panel and then trimmed them even with the edges of the card stock.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Coastal Cabana card base with Stampin’ Seal.

I cut a panel of Basic Black card stock with the mountain die from the Greatest Journey Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered small pieces of Adhesive Sheets to the back of another panel of Basic Black card stock and then cut them with two of the Greatest Journey Dies.  I snipped the lantern off the die cut of the person and then adhered the two die cut pieces to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets.

I looped a small length of Coastal Cabana twine from the Three Twine Combo Pack on the card front and adhered it with Mini Glue Dots.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Journey stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Melon Mambo card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two of the white Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the tree image from the Greatest Journey stamp set twice in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.

***I do apologize, I had some technical issues with my phone and couldn’t get the video to switch to landscape so it recorded in portrait mode. Hopefully things will be working better next time I go live!
