I used the cute Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses stamp set bundle to create a birthday card to share with you today. I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.
I started by cutting panels of Bubble Bath and Soft Shimmer 12×12 Paper Combo Pack with the Carousel Horses Dies. I adhered the die cuts to a panel of White Vellum with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the horse images from the Carousel Horses stamp set in Smoky Slate, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Lost Lagoon inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.
I cut the stamped horse images out with the coordinating Carousel Horses Dies and adhered the die cuts to the vellum panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added the shimmer paper die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals for the top and Multipurpose Liquid Glue for the bottom. Then I stamped the sentiment and banner images from the Carousel Horses stamp set in Bubble Bath and Lost Lagoon inks on a panel of Basic White card stock and I cut them out with the coordinating Carousel Horses Die. I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the vellum panel.
I adhered the vellum panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (hidden under the die cuts) to a panel of Inked Botanicals 6″ x 6″ DSP (on sale for 15% off during June) and then adhered the layered panel to a Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added two Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Carousel Horses stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then added a strip of Inked Botanicals DSP to finish the inside of the card.
