I used the Stampin’ Up! Softly Sketched stamp set to create a clean and simple hello card to share with you today. I made this project out on Instagram this morning and you can see it here.
My card design was inspired by The Paper Players PP645.
I started by adhering 1″ Post-It Note Tape around all four sides of a Thick Basic White card base. Then I used a Blending Brush to apply Coastal Cabana ink to the rectangle in the center of the card. I removed the mask and then inked the grapes image from the Softly Sketched stamp set with a Sponge Dauber and Pebbled Path ink.
I stamped the grapes on the card front and then colored the image with Granny Apple Green and Fresh Freesia Watercolor Pencils from the Watercolor Pencils Assortment 1 and 2. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Softly Sketched stamp set in Pebbled Path ink next to the grapes on the card front.
I adhered two Fresh Freesia dots from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack to finish the card front.
I inked the grapes image again with Pebbled Path ink and a Sponge Dauber and then stamped it on Basic White card stock. I colored the grapes with Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green Watercolor Pencils to finish the inside of the card.
