Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Birthday Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals stamp set bundle from the upcoming September-December 2023 Mini Catalog to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also did a video tutorial for this card and you can see it on YouTube here.

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP400.

I started by adhering a panel of Masterfully Made DSP to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the stem image from the Translucent Florals stamp set (available September 6) twice in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around the images with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel to a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then wrapped a small length of Linen Thread around the panel and tied a bow.

I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Translucent Florals stamp set in Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Translucent Florals Dies (available September 6) and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Translucent Florals stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Crumb Cake card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the All That Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I adhered three Fresh Freesia dots from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and flower images from the Translucent Florals in Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I added a strip of Masterfully Made DSP using Stampin’ Seal to adhere it to finish the inside of the card.
