Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Birthday Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set bundle to create a birthday card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC313.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC216.  I went right across the middle and down the middle.

I started by using one of the Blending Brushes and one of the Foursquare Decorative Masks to apply Balmy Blue ink to a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I adhered the inked panel to another panel of Basic White card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Cheerful Daisies photopolymer stamp set in Gray Granite, Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut around the images with the coordinating dies from the Cheerful Daisies Dies and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I tied a bow from Linen Thread and adhered the bow to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Tahitian Tide card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Embossing Powders and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies and then slid the die over about 1/2″ and ran the die cut through again trimming off the excess.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added five Tahitian Tide pearls from the 2022-2024 In Color Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the daisy image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Gray Granite and Lemon Lolly inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
