I used the Stampin’ Up! Inspirational Sketches stamp set to create a quick thank you card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #680.
The products that I used on my card were inspired by Inspire.Create.Challenges #159.
I started by adhering a panel of Flight & Airy DSP (Sale-a-bration item) to the front of a Boho Blue card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I stamped the bird image from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the image with Light Crumb Cake, Pebbled Path, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used the Color Lifter to lighten the color on the beak and legs.
I cut around the bird image with one of the Everyday Details Dies and then used a Blending Brush to apply Boho Blue ink around the edges of the die cut. I adhered the die cut circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a bow. I stamped the lined image from the Inspirational Sketches several times in Boho Blue ink across a panel or Basic White card stock and then cut the panel with one of the Everyday Details Dies.
I used the Blending Brush to apply Boho Blue ink to the die cut and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Inspirational Sketches stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Everyday Details Dies. I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and then added three Pool Party dots from the Opaque Faceted Gems (Sale-a-bration item) to finish the card front.
I adhered a strip of Flight & Airy DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
