I used the Stampin’ Up! Ice Cream Swirl stamp set bundle to create a quick and easy fun fold birthday card to share with you today.
My card design was inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC240. I went from upper left diagonally to lower right.
I started by trimming 1″ off one side of a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ card base. Then I adhered a panel of Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Azure Afternoon cards stock with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the trimmed card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I cut panels of Crumb Cake and Bubble Bath card stocks with the cone, ice cream and ice cream swirl dies from the Ice Cream Swirl Dies. I snipped the cone die cut in half and adhered the cone image to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. Then I used a Small Blending Brush to apply Bubble Bath ink over the “swirl” die cut. I adhered the two ice cream die cuts together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
I stamped the straw, cherry and strawberry images from the Ice Cream Swirl photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock. I colored the images with Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut the images out with the coordinating Ice Swirl Dies and adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Thoughtful Expressions Dies. I adhered the die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Ice Cream Swirl stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then adhered the stamped panel and a wide strip of Lighter Than Air DSP to the inside of the card to finish it.
