Stampin’ Up! Excellent Eggs Easter Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Excellent Eggs stamp set bundle to create a fun Easter card to share with you today.  I made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it  here.

My card design was inspired by Just Us Girls #716.  I CASE’d Carol Mc’s card layout.

I started by cutting panels of Highland Heather, Bubble Bath, Pool Party and Lemon Lolly card stocks three times each with the chevron die from the Excellent Eggs Dies.  I adhered the die cut chevrons to a panel of Basic White card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and trimmed the ends even with the edges of the panel.  I adhered the Basic White panel to a panel of Highland Heather card stock with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Highland Heather card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock four times with one of the square dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut squares to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the bunny image from the Excellent Eggs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink four times on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored the images with Light and Dark Highland Heather, Pool Party, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the bunnies out with the coordinating Excellent Eggs and adhered them to the card front with Mini Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Excellent Eggs stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Everyday Details Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added two Lemon Lolly ovals from the Opaque Ovals to finish the card front.

I stamped the bunny image from the Excellent Eggs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Highland Heather and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
