Stampin’ Up! Submarine Life Birthday Card For Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Submarine Life stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge.  Don’t forget that the bundle pricing for Submarine Life stamp set and punch will go away on April 30…so get yours ordered soon to save 10%!

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC333.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by stamping using a Blending Brush to apply Coastal Cabana ink across a panel or Basic White card stock.  Then I stamped the sand image from the Submarine Life photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake ink across the bottom of a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the crab image in Cherry Cobbler ink and the fish images in Petal Pink ink on the Basic White panel.

I added the sentiment from the Submarine Life stamp set in Summer Splash ink (available May 1) on the Basic White panel.  I stamped the “waves” image from the Submarine Life stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink above the sentiment.  I inked the bubble image in Coastal Cabana ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it repeatedly over the top of the Basic White panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Summer Splash card stock (available May 1) with Stampin’ Seal and then to the front of a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the submarine and propeller images from the Submarine Life stamp set in Night Of Navy and Summer Splash inks on Basic White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Submarine Life Builder Punch.  I adhered the punched images to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added two of the Summer Splash gems from the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems to finish the card front.

I stamped the sand, crab, fish and sentiment images from the Submarine Life stamp set in Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink and Night Of Navy inks on a panel  of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
