Stampin’ Up! Year Of Flowers CAS Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Year Of Flowers stamp set bundle from the upcoming March 4 Online Exclusives to create a birthday card to share with you today.  I also made this card out on my Instagram account this morning and you can find it here.

I started by scoring the front of of a Thick Basic White card base five times beginning at the 2-1/2″ point and then scored the card front at 2-1/4″, 2-3/8″, 2-5/8″ and again at 2-3/4″.  I stamped the sentiment from the Year Of Flowers stamp set (Online Exclusive item available March 4) in Old Olive ink on the card front.

I stamped the March flower image from the Year Of Flowers six times on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut around three of them with the frame die from the Year Of Flowers Dies (Online Exclusive item available March 4) and then adhered them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut the remaining flowers with the detailed flower die from the Year Of Flowers Dies.

I colored the flower images with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the die cut flowers to the card front over the framed flower images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Antique Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Year Of Flowers stamp set in Old Olive ink and the March flower image in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel 0f Basic White card stock.  I colored the flower image with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this project, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

I’ve created a printable PDF with written instructions and a list of products used to create this project.  You can download, print and/or save it by clicking this image:

Stamp Out The California Wildfires Fundraiser!

Two Demonstrators have organized a fundraiser to support Glenn Beck’s Mercury One organization (you can find more about that organization here) to assist those who have been affected by the California wildfires and they’ve asked me to join with then to present a project!

Your $20 donation will give you access to a private Facebook page where at least 29 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators will be sharing paper crafting project videos!  The projects will all be featuring either January-April 2025 Mini Catalog or newer Online Exclusive items.

The event will be starting at 2:00 PM PT on Thursday, February 27 and will running through the weekend.  However, the replays and event page will remain live indefinitely so you’ll be able to access the page and videos any time afterward if you can’t attend live.

You can either scan the QR code on the image above to donate or click this link to go to the page to donate.  Thanks for supporting this worthwhile cause!
