Stampin’ Up! Flower Cart Birthday Card for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “celebrate spring” theme and I’m featuring the Flower Cart stamp set and dies for my card.

The colors for my card were inspired by The Paper Players PP728.

I started by adhering a panel of Bubble Bath patterned paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front of a Bubble Bath card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I used Blending Brushes to apply Coastal Cabana and Gray Granite inks to a panel of Basic White card stock.  I stamped the rock image from the Flower Cart photopolymer stamp set in Gray Granite ink across the Basic White panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Flower Cart stamp set in Pecan Pie ink on the Basic White panel and then adhered the inked panel to a die cut from Basic White card stock with one of the Textured Notes Dies with Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow then adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the flower and flowerpot images from the Flower Cart stamp set in Crumb Cake, Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath inks on a panel of Basic White card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Flower Cart Dies and then adhered the die cuts with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added two clear dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment, flowers, flowerpots and rocks from the Flower Cart stamp set in Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Gray Granite, Lemon Lime Twist and Bubble Bath inks on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
