Stampin’ Up! Cheers & Sips Celebrate Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheers & Sips stamp set bundle from the upcoming May 6 Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.  Thanks to Judy Tuttle for sharing a project with the ink blended images with this stamp set that inspired my card!

Here are the colors that we’re all using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folders (Online Exclusive item available May 6).  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the glasses, ice cubes, fruit and sentiment images from the Cheers & Sips photopolymer stamp set (Online Exclusive item available May 6) in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock, sprinkled them with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed them.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Cheers & Sips Dies (Online Exclusive item available May 6) and the More Messages Dies (Online Exclusive item available May 6).

I used Blending Brushes to apply Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush, Secret Sea (inks available May 6), Summer Splash, and Petunia Pop inks to the stamped images and then adhered the images to the card front with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals (for the glass on the left and the sentiment).  I added two Strawberry Slush dots from the 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (available May 6) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in Secret Sea ink on a panel of Basic White card stock.  Then I stamped the glass and citrus images from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then heat embossed the images with white embossing powder.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Cheers & Sips Dies and then adhered them to the Basic White panel with Mini Glue Dots.  I trimmed the glass image even with the edge of the panel to finish the inside of the card.
