Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Greenery stamp set bundle from the upcoming September-December 2025 Mini Catalog to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the floral image from the Christmas Greenery photopolymer stamp set (available September 3) in Pool Party ink twice on the front of a Thick Basic White card base.  Then I cut a panel of Darling Duckling card stock with the Stylish Shapes Dies, snipped the die cut in half and then adhered the pieces to the card front with Stampin’ Seal with about a 1″ gap between them.

I cut a panel of Basic White card stock with one of the Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive item) and then used a Blending Brush to apply Darling Duckling ink to the center of that die cut.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Then I stamped the floral image from the Christmas Greenery stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Old Olive, Strawberry Slush and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Christmas Greenery Dies (available September 3) and then adhered them with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder from the Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut around the sentiment with one of the Textured Notes Dies and then adhered it with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.  I added three Darling Duckling dots from the Low Profile Dots (Online Exclusive item) to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Garden Green ink and the bouquet image from the Christmas Greenery stamp set in Pool Party on a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
