Stampin’ Up! Botanical Expressions You Brighten My Day Butterfly Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Expressions stamp set from the upcoming July Online Exclusives to create my project for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the theme that we’re all using this week:

My card design also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #294.  I went straight across the center.

I stated by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP (restocking around June 22) to the front of a Crisp Cantaloupe card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered another panel of Bloom Boutique DSP to a panel of Crisp Cantaloupe card stock with Stampin’ Seal.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered four of the butterflies from the Gilded Wings Accents (Online Exclusive item available July 1) with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I tied a bow with Linen Thread and then adhered the bow with Mini Glue Dots to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Expressions stamp set (Online Exclusive item available July 1) in Peaceful Pine ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then cut it out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.  I adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish it.

I adhered another strip of the Bloom Boutique DSP to a panel of Basic White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
