Stampin’ Up! Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Birthday Card for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies bundle to create a birthday card for the Sunday Stamps challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC394.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of patterned paper from the Sunflower Fields DSP to the front of a Golden Glow card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I foiled a panel of White Willow card stock with the frame and two of the flourish dies from the Flourish & Frames Stampin’ Hot Foil Dies, the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and Gold Stampin’ Hot Foil Rolls.  I cut the image out with the coordinating Flourish & Frames Dies.

I stamped the bee image from the Flourish & Frames stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on White Willow card stock and then colored the body with Light and Dark Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut around the bee with another of the Flourish & Frames Dies and then adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped a length of Linen Thread around the card front twice and then tied a bow.

I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Cutest Crew stamp set in VersMark ink on a panel of White Willow card stock, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder from the Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Spotlight On Nature Dies and then adhered the die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the bee image from the Flourish & Frames stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Basic White card stock and then colored it with Light and Dark Golden Glow Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
