Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cookie Cutter Christmas and Candy Cane Christmas stamp sets to create a clean and simple holiday card to share today.  This would be a great card to stamp in multiples since it’s just a few quick punches and die cuts!

My card design was inspired by The Challenge #76.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the sketch image to come up on their blog.  If I can pull the image later, I’ll update my blog post.

The clean and simple design for my project was inspired by Stamp Ink Paper #64.

I started by adhering a panel from the Candy Cane Lane DSP to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a wide strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP to a strip of Early Espresso card stock and then to the larger panel with SNAIL.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sentiment from the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the larger DSP panel.  Then I wrapped a strand of the Candy Cane Lane Baker’s Twine around the panel, tied a bow and adhered the panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the gingerbread man and the bow tie images from the Cookie Cutter Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso and Real Red inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched the images out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch and adhered them together and then to a Layering Circles Framelits die cut from Whisper White card stock with Glue Dots.  I adhered the Whisper White die cut circle with SNAIL to a scalloped circle that I’d cut from Early Espresso card stock with another Layering Circles Framelits die.

I adhered the layered circle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a Real Red enamel heart from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set in Early Espresso ink and the candy images from the Candy Cane Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
